UM supports European manufacturers through its French industrial presence, direct access to the UM team and a network of partners across the region.
UM's presence in Europe is industrial, not just commercial. UM-HPM, in Bordes near Pau in south-west France, is a precision machining and tooling facility that joined the UM group in 2025. It gives UM a manufacturing footprint inside the European Union, with CNC milling, turning, EDM, grinding and a metrology centre, and a team that has been machining demanding parts since 1970.
Aftermarket parts for PET and packaging equipment continue to be engineered and manufactured at UM's headquarters in Quebec, Canada, and shipped to European customers. UM-HPM strengthens that offer with European precision manufacturing capacity and a local industrial base.
UM has shipped parts to European plants for decades. France has a dedicated page because UM operates there; other country pages will be added as local activity justifies them.
UM's European partners add local relationships and language coverage. Customers can always contact UM directly.
The equipment UM supports in Europe is the same as everywhere else — aftermarket replacement parts for machines built by Sidel, Krones, KHS and other packaging OEMs:

UM's reverse engineering, 3D scanning, machine audit and overhaul services are available to European customers. Engineering services are coordinated from Quebec; machining work is placed at the UM site best suited to the part.
