An audit creates a structured snapshot of a machine or assembly so decisions are based on documented observations rather than isolated failures. Machine audit services are most useful when the scope and maintenance decisions are defined in advance.
The scope may focus on one problem area or cover several machine sections. Depending on access and the agreed mandate, the review can consider mechanical wear, play, alignment indicators, damaged surfaces, lubrication condition, recurring failure points, obsolete parts and the availability of critical spares.
