Blowing Valves for Krones Blow Molders

Each blowing station on a Krones blow molder uses valves to control preblow, blow and exhaust air. These valves cycle for every bottle, so their pistons, guides and seals wear steadily. UM supplies all Krones Type S and SK valves, along with the pistons, cylinder guides, seal kits and pilot valves needed to maintain them.

Type S and SK Valves

UM supplies the complete range of Krones Type S and SK blowing valves, including blow and exhaust valves. Complete valves are available on request; contact us with your OEM part number.

Maintenance Parts

For on-site maintenance, UM supplies piston and cylinder guide assemblies for the P1 and P2/exhaust positions, seal kits for the pistons, and flush-valve guide assemblies with their rebuild kits. Krones pilot valves are available with a blue adapter plate (normally open) or a red adapter plate (normally closed).

Keeping Blowing Valves in Good Condition

Worn piston seals and guides cause air leaks, slow switching and differences in blowing pressure between stations. Replacing seals at planned intervals, and keeping a set of pistons and guides on the shelf, lets you restore a valve quickly during a planned stop instead of waiting with the machine down.
