UM is a Canadian manufacturer of aftermarket replacement parts and engineered solutions for blow molding, bottling, PET and packaging equipment.
UM Inc. was founded in 1976 in Saint-Rémi, Quebec, and that is still where everything happens: headquarters, engineering, precision manufacturing, inspection and customer service. We specialize in the aftermarket — the replacement and improvement of parts for production equipment that is already running — for the beverage, bottled water, food and plastics packaging industries.
Canadian plants have been UM's customers for nearly fifty years. We support beverage bottlers, bottled water producers, food packagers and PET container manufacturers across the country, from Quebec and Ontario to the West and the Atlantic provinces. Service is nationwide; there is no region of Canada we do not ship to.
Because we are a Canadian company, Canadian customers deal with a supplier that invoices in their currency, ships domestically and answers the phone in French or English.
UM manufactures aftermarket parts for equipment built by Sidel, Krones, KHS, Sacmi, Nissei, Zalkin, Arol, Gasti, Arcil and other manufacturers of PET and packaging machinery:
Working with UM in Canada means direct access to the people who design and make your parts. Our engineers review OEM references, drawings and samples with you, propose material or design improvements where a part keeps failing, and recreate components that the original manufacturer no longer supports. When a question comes up on the plant floor, the answer comes from the shop that made the part — not from a reseller.
